Bookkeeper - 1st Shift Part-Time - Up to $22/hr - Jackson, MI
Organized, Detail-Oriented, & QuickBooks Savvy? This Bookkeeper Role Is for You!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and process accounts payable using QuickBooks.
- Perform basic to intermediate bookkeeping and accounting duties.
- Maintain accurate financial records and create reports using Excel.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365 for various administrative tasks.
- Oversee inventory control processes and ensure proper tracking.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting via custom spreadsheets.
- Track and manage 401K entries and support Workman’s Comp filing
- Ensure organization, accuracy, and timeliness in all accounting operations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong experience with accounts payable and QuickBooks required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing inventory and creating financial tracking systems.
- Familiarity with 401K and Workman’s Comp is a plus—but training is available for the right candidate.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
As a Bookkeeper, you’ll manage accounts payable, maintain QuickBooks records, and support accounting tasks using Microsoft Office. You’ll also assist with inventory control and financial reporting. Experience with 401K and Workman’s Comp is a plus, but training is available. This role supports a local beer distributor and is perfect for someone organized and detail-focused.
