Part-Time Quality Sorter Location: Van Wert, OH  Shift: Part-Time – Approximately 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, Flexible Schedule  Pay: $16.00 per hour Job Summary Are you detail-oriented with good vision and an eye for imperfections? We're seeking a Part-Time Quality Sorter to join our team in Van Wert, OH. In this role, you'll inspect parts for quality, identify defects, and help ensure products meet established standards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule. The position offers approximately 10–16 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling. What You’ll Be Doing As a Quality Sorter, your core responsibilities will include:Quality Inspection: Visually inspect parts for imperfections, defects, and inconsistencies.Sorting Parts: Identify and separate acceptable parts from those that do not meet quality standards.Attention to Detail: Carefully examine parts to ensure they meet established specifications.Maintaining Quality Standards: Follow inspection guidelines and report concerns when defects are identified.Work Area Organization: Keep the inspection area clean and organized while maintaining an efficient workflow.In addition, you will also be expected to follow work instructions and assist with related quality tasks as needed. What We’re Looking For in a Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, patient, and detail-oriented. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work and can consistently identify imperfections others might overlook. Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive inspection work and maintaining focus throughout their scheduled hours. Previous quality inspection experience may be helpful, but a strong eye for detail and willingness to learn are key. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment and focuses on visually inspecting and sorting parts.
