Parts Runner
Location: Greenville, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Parts Runner to join our team in Greenville, MI. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in our operations by supporting operational efficiency and inventory accuracy through the timely movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the facility while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Parts Runner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Material Distribution: Efficiently distributing required parts to workstations using forklifts, stock chasers, pallet jacks, or hand carts to keep production running smoothly.
- Inventory & Warehouse Support: Retrieving parts orders for assembly and sub-assembly areas, unloading finished products from assembly lines, transporting items to the warehouse, and performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Systems & Documentation: Using computer terminals or tablets to locate materials, enter and retrieve data, read production schedules and work orders, and ensure correct materials are available based on priority and stock levels.
Additionally, you may be asked to proactively work with area supervisors to keep stocking shelves full, assist with loading and unloading materials manually or mechanically, and perform other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing support
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
