Skills:
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Install pipes, valves, and fittings according to project specifications
- Test piping systems for leaks and ensure that they meet all safety and regulatory requirements
- Perform repairs and maintenance on piping systems as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have Journeyman certification
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements
- Experience operating a lift preferred but not required
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 7am-3:30pm M-F, with potential for overtime. In this position, you’d be responsible for going out to customer worksites (wastewater plants, commercial buildings, etc.), and
installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for various commercial and industrial projects
