This company is looking for a driven and reliable Plasma Robot Operator to assist in operating machinery involved in the production of metal materials used for welded steel racks. This position offers an opportunity to grow alongside a supportive team while contributing to high-quality manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
- 2
+ year of manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong measuring skills, including competent tape measure use
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and adapt to changing daily tasks
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Skills:
- Ability to work with team members to maximize productivity
- Strong attention to detail and task focus
- Understanding and use of PPE required for plasma robot operations
- Clear communication and safety-first mindset
For this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating plasma cutting robots using pendant controls, preparing materials for production, loading/unloading materials as needed, restarting programming to meet specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing, bending, twisting, and hand use
- Frequent kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, and overhead reaching
- Occasional lifting/carrying of 26–60 lbs
- Frequent lifting/carrying of 11–25 lbs
- Constant lifting/carrying of 0–10 lbs
