Plate Team Member
Location: Holland, MI Pay: $19-$23/hour
Job Summary
Are you a skilled and motivated individual looking to grow your career in a precision fabrication environment? We're seeking a Plate Team Member to join our team in Holland, MI. In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing high-quality metal components through CNC operations and fabrication support, contributing to efficient workflow and superior product results.
What You'll Be Doing
As a SIPs Shaper, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating CNC equipment to cut, shape, and finish metal plates according to specifications.
- Inspecting completed parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings.
In addition, you will also be expected to operate hi-lo and overhead cranes, assist in problem-solving, and perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior CNC operating experience required.
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools with precision.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork with fellow team members
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards and a clean work environment
