Job Summary
Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in building your manufacturing skills? We’re seeking aPowder Coater to join our team in Rothbury, MI. In this role, you’ll prepare parts, apply powder coating, andhelp ensure finished products meet quality standards. Previous powder coating experience is preferred, butwe are willing to train someone who is motivated to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Powder Coater, your core responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and cleaning parts before coating
- Applying powder coating evenly according to specifications
- Hanging and removing parts from the coating line
- Inspecting finished parts for proper coverage and quality
- Completing touch-ups or rework when needed
- Following production instructions and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Assisting with other production duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
- Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred
- Willingness to learn powder coating equipment and processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify coating and finish defects
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
- Commitment to workplace safety
