Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 6:15 AM–5:45 PM | Monday–Friday | Rotating Days
Pay: $17.00/hour
Job Summary
Are you detail-oriented and experienced working in a manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a dependable Powdercoat Painter to join a growing production team in Holland, MI. In this role, you’ll prepare and coat metal parts while ensuring high-quality finishes and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Powdercoat Painter, your core responsibilities will include:
● Powder Coating Application: Apply powder coating materials to metal products using spray equipment while ensuring even coverage and quality finishes.
● Surface Preparation: Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting materials prior to coating.
● Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate powder coating equipment safely while performing routine cleaning and maintenance on tools and work areas.
In addition, you will also inspect finished products for quality, assist with material handling, and maintain production and safety standards throughout the shift.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
● Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
● Manufacturing or production experience required.
● Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
● Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Skills:
● Attention to Detail: Ability to identify coating imperfections and maintain consistent quality.
● Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating production equipment and spray systems.
● Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of materials and equipment.
Physical Requirements
● Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift.
● Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed throughout the workday.
● Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, heat, and paint materials.
