Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Powdercoat Painters to join a leading manufacturer of steel laboratory and office furniture in Fruitport, MI. This position is ideal for dependable individuals with previous powder coating experience who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in producing high-quality finished products.
What You'll Be Doing
- Apply powder coating to a variety of steel products using proper spray techniques.
- Ensure consistent coverage and quality throughout the paint line process.
- Inspect finished products to verify they meet quality standards.
- Maintain production goals while working safely and efficiently.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with the paint line team.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Previous powder coating experience is required.
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to consistently meet production standards and quality expectations.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team-based environment.
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
