Job Summary
Are you an experienced machine operator looking to join a stable, family-owned company that’s been thriving for nearly 70 years? We’re seeking a Press Brake Operator
to join our team in Livonia, MI. In this role, you’ll use your technical skills to produce quality metal components while working in a supportive, safety-focused environment with long-term potential.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Brake Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating Press Brake and Laser Jet Machines: Produce precision metal parts according to specifications and blueprints.
- Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Ensure accuracy and quality in every part produced.
- Supporting Production Efficiency:
Stock workstations, clean work areas, and assist with grinding/deburring parts as needed.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a steady, medium-paced workflow and uphold company safety and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of Press Brake operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of the shift
- Reliable transportation
Skills:
- Measurement & Math Skills: Proficient with a tape measure and basic math, including fractions, to ensure part accuracy.
- Blueprint Reading: Understands technical drawings to guide machine setup and production.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures consistent quality and precision across all tasks.
