Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Job Summary
Seeking a reliable Press Operator to support production by following established procedures, operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and completing required documentation. This work will be conducted in a cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to strict cleanliness, safety, and contamination control standards. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, operate equipment safely, and maintain an organized work area.
What you'll be doing
· Follow and understand the Change Spec. Card Procedure and Non Conforming Product Procedure · Retrieve magnets, WOR folder, materials, and instructions for each job · Select correct tooling, attach bearer blocks, and load tooling into the station · Set up the machine for the assigned job and ensure proper material orientation · Load material and adhesive, feed through fife guide, and adjust for center run · Start machine; adjust tension, alignment, nip roller speed, and die cutting as needed · Remove waste or air injection and verify part dimensions to print and/or mylar · Print core/box tags and first/last piece labels with correct information · Retain first and last approved pieces and complete required documentation · Record supplier material information (lot #, run #, part #) per procedure · Complete In Process and End of Run check sheets · Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform minor machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, filters, lubrication) · Change worn accessories such as cutting tools and brushes · Cut cores, gather boxes/materials, and support efficient production of quality parts · Work with sales/estimating on sample runs for new product introduction · Ensure product meets spec card requirements and update spec card when processes change · Monitor machine operation for defects or malfunctions and make adjustments; notify supervisors for major service · Make process improvement suggestions · Other duties as assigned
