! This role is ideal for hardworking, reliable individuals ready to operate draw block machines while helping maintain production quality and efficiency. This temporary-to-full-time position offers overtime and advancement opportunities, as well as access to healthcare and support through Workbox Staffing.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Press Machine Operator
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating Machines: Run draw block machines efficiently and ensure all production parts meet quality standards.
- Maintaining Equipment: Perform minor adjustments, monitor machine performance, and clean/sanitize machines and surrounding areas.
- Supporting Production Flow:
Stack, sort, or sand products as needed and communicate effectively with drivers and team members.
In addition, you will also be expected to follow all supervisor instructions and maintain clean work areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a machine operator preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Available to work Monday–Thursday 6:30 am–3:00 pm, Friday 6:30 am–2:30 pm, and occasional overtime including Saturdays
Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Operates and monitors equipment to maintain production quality and efficiency.
- Communication: Able to follow instructions and coordinate effectively with team members and drivers.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures clean, safe, and compliant work areas and accurately records production data.
