Job Title: General Labor
A Muskegon Company that offers complete metal part-making capabilities for a variety of industries; supplying laser-cut parts for low volume needs & stamped parts for high-volume programs with complete in-house tool making capabilities is looking for a qualified candidate to join their team. The candidate could be working as a Press Brake Operator; doing Metal Finishing; Inspection; duties as required.
Key Outcomes:
1. Machine Operation (press)
2. Lift parts as needed
3. Reposition work piece when making multiple or successive hits.
4. Grind and burn out sharp edges.
5. Inspect the parts.
Job Functions:
1. Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos; along with having the ability to write simple correspondence.
2. Must have the ability to present information to one or more individuals.
3. Must be able to interpret math problems, having the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure. Will be required to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
4. Must use common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
5. Must have excellent problem solving skills.
6. Must be comfortable and confident working alone as well as in a team environment.
7. Must feel comfortable lifting between 10-50 pounds consistently throughout the shift; the required weight will depend on which job the candidate is working on each day.
8. Must feel comfortable and confident inspecting each part, and if there is an issue, must communicate with supervisor.
9. Must have the ability to be very dependable with excellent attendance.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
1. GED or H.S. Diploma required
2. Must have excellent communication skills
3. Ability to work in a team based environment
Dress Code: Long sleeves are recommended and short sleeve shirts are required. Full length pants are required (pants must not expose any skin). Steel toed work boots and socks must be worn at all times. Safety Glasses are required.

We’re seeking a Press Operator to join a Muskegon manufacturer that specializes in stamping, laser cutting, welding, and tool design. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the Press Department, helping keep production running smoothly while supporting overall manufacturing goals.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Operating Press Equipment: Setting up, operating, and monitoring press machines to produce stamped parts according to production schedules and quality standards.
Part Loading & Removal: Loading materials into press machines and removing finished parts in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
Quality Inspection: Performing visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure parts meet specifications and quality requirements.
Process Monitoring: Watching machine operation closely to identify issues such as tool wear, misfeeds, or defects, and reporting concerns promptly.
Shipping & Receiving Support: Assisting with the flow of parts within the department to support timely production and order completion.
Safety & Compliance: Following all operational and safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist in other areas of the press department as needed, help maintain a clean and organized work area, communicate any machine or quality concerns to leadership, and support overall production goals.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications:Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience required
Previous press operating experience preferred
Ability to follow established safety and operational standards
Skills:Ability to lift over 50 lbs as needed
