Job Summary
Responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to produce high-quality materials. The Press Operator ensures efficient and safe operation of the press, troubleshoots issues, and performs routine maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor press machines, including setup, adjustment, and cleanup
- Ensure high-quality production, meeting customer specifications and deadlines
- Troubleshoot press issues, perform repairs, and request maintenance as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Production staff to meet production goals
Preferred Skills
● Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
● Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/32nd
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and production goals
● Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
● Must be able to use hand tools
