Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Shift: 9:30am–6:00pm (Monday–Friday and some required Saturdays)
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Job SummaryAre you someone who enjoys working with machines, being part of a team, and producing quality products? We’re seeking a process Technician to join our team in Portage, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of operations by helping efficiently produce high-quality Plastic injection molded products in a team-oriented environment.What You'll Be DoingAs a Process Technician, your core responsibilities will include:Operating injection molding machines: Producing corrugated products efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Maintaining production flow: Supporting production schedules through organization and teamwork.
Ensuring workplace safety: Keeping a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
In addition, you will also assist with setup, troubleshooting, and supporting other production tasks based on business needs.What We're Looking ForQualifications:Prior machine operator experience required
Previous experience in an industrial or warehouse setting required
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills:Machine operation skills: Ability to operate converting machines to produce plastic mold injection products efficiently and accurately.
Communication and teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with co-workers and support production goals.
Problem-solving abilities: Willingness to troubleshoot issues and learn from others in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational skills: Ability to stay organized and meet production schedules.
Commitment to safety and quality: Focused on maintaining company safety standards and producing quality work.
Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material problems to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
Accurately complete Process Verification and Tool Reports as required.
Participate in die change activities and ensure proper care of all equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and machine control systems.
