Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring
part-time General Laborers
for one of Ann Arbor’s well-known manufacturers of tofu and other soy-based food products. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity supporting food production, packaging, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a General Laborer, your core responsibilities will include:
- Food Production Support: Assisting in various stages of the food manufacturing process.
- Packaging & Palletizing: Packaging finished products and picking/palletizing orders for shipment.
- Sanitation & Cleanup: Washing down production equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
- Warehouse Support: Sorting products, organizing inventory, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting with shipping & receiving.
In addition, you may assist with general warehouse tasks and customer service support as needed.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Willingness to perform various duties as assigned
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, scooping, and stacking
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, and loud warehouse conditions
