3rd (12a – 8:30a) M-Thurs. Pay: $18.50/hr.
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Operator
to join our team in Saline, MI.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us produce high-quality molded products while ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Operator,
your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating Production Equipment: Monitor multiple color-coded injection molding machines and observe operations to identify defects, malfunctions, or quality concerns.
- Inspecting and Processing Products: Inspect finished parts for defects, weigh products, complete required paperwork, and ensure all quality standards are met.
- Packaging and Material Handling: Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished products to designated areas while maintaining production flow.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, frequently walk throughout the production area, and climb ladders or steps while handling materials as needed.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- At least 1+ year experience in similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with heat, dust, odors, and constant movement throughout the shift.
- Must adhere to all company policies, including no cell phone use on the production floor and a zero-tolerance drug-free workplace policy.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify product defects, monitor machine performance, and maintain high quality standards.
- Reliability & Work Ethic: Dependable attendance and the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
