Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Job Summary
Are you a reliable and adaptable team player who enjoys a hands-on role in manufacturing? We’re seeking a Production Floater to join our production team. In this position, you’ll support various departments — including furnace and dryer operations — and ensure production runs smoothly across shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who values variety, teamwork, and growth in a dynamic production environment.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Floater, your core responsibilities will include:
● Assist Production Operations: Support furnace, dryer, and shift supervisors as needed.
● Material Handling: Help with dumping, weighing, marking, skimming, and sampling sows.
● Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, skid steers, and front loaders safely and efficiently.
● Support Lab Operations: Assist with basic lab technician tasks such as sample analysis and product quality checks.
● Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
● Team Collaboration: Work flexibly across departments, filling in where needed to maintain production flow.
● Management Support: Follow direction from leadership including the President, General Manager, and Production Supervisors.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required
● Good work record and reliability
● Flexibility to work different jobs, shifts, and overtime as needed

Skills:
● Ability to work effectively with team members and customers
● Basic administrative and mechanical aptitude
● Familiarity with equipment and general math
● Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand on concrete for long periods of time
● Ability to walk, sit, climb, reach overhead, and handle tools and materials
● Must be able to lift and move varying weights
● Must tolerate extreme temperatures (heat and cold)
● Good color, distance, and close vision with depth perception

Work Environment:
Work may include exposure to open flames, moving machinery, outdoor weather, and extreme temperatures. Noise levels are moderate and protective equipment may be required.
