Job Summary
Are you a safety-minded, dependable individual looking for a hands-on production role? We’re seeking a Production Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining furnace operations during your assigned shift, ensuring production schedules, recovery standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Furnace Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
● Operating and monitoring furnaces: Keep furnaces producing on schedule while meeting established production and quality standards.
● Material recovery and sampling: Monitor recovery rates by material load, ensure accurate sampling procedures, and submit samples for analysis.
● Material handling and documentation: Weigh, mark, dump, and process aluminum into sow molds while maintaining accurate paperwork and shift pass-down reports.
● Operating and monitoring furnaces: Keep furnaces producing on schedule while meeting established production and quality standards.

In addition, you will also be expected to monitor emissions, assist supervisors with required environmental documentation, operate mobile equipment safely, and enforce all company safety policies.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED preferred
● Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as required
● Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed
