Grand Haven, MI, $17.25 per hour, 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:50 AM–2:00 PM (Overtime may be required)
- Operating CNC and manual machinery: Use precision equipment to cut, edge, and fabricate glass components to exact specifications.
- Inspecting glass products: Examine materials at each stage of production to ensure quality and identify defects.
- Measuring and quality checks: Use a tape measure (down to 1/32”) and basic math to ensure accurate cuts and consistent output.
In addition, you will also be expected to lift and reposition glass materials throughout the shift and communicate any production issues to your supervisor.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, work orders, and correspondence
- Strong math skills for basic measurements and calculations
- Ability to lift between 50–80 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Comfortable inspecting materials and identifying quality concerns
- Mechanical aptitude: Confidently operate CNC and manual production machinery to produce precision glass components.
- Attention to detail: Identify and address quality issues to maintain production standards.
- Problem-solving skills: Quickly troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous workflow and quality output.
