Production Laborer/ Configuration Technician
Location: Fort Wayne, IN Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday–Friday) Pay: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Configuration Technician I to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us configure and deploy computer hardware and mobile devices accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Configuration Technician I, your core responsibilities will include:
● Device Configuration & Deployment: Configuring and deploying PCs and mobile devices to ensure proper setup and readiness for use.
● System Navigation & Management: Using and navigating Windows OS, Windows Mobile OS, Apple iOS, and Android OS, including renaming systems and managing file structures.
● Asset Tagging & Documentation: Accurately recording and tracking work, including asset tagging, scanning items into electronic systems, and marking items complete.

In addition, you will also be expected to assist with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, endpoint management systems, basic hardware troubleshooting, and maintaining organization of completed and in-progress equipment.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

● High School Diploma or equivalent
● 2+ years of related experience
● Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 75–200 lbs occasionally

Skills:
● Technical proficiency: Working knowledge of Windows OS, mobile devices, and high proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
● Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and electronically.
● Attention to detail & accountability: Ability to accurately record and track work while working independently with minimal supervision.
