Production Lead
Location: Muskegon, MI
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Job Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on Production Lead to support 2nd shift production operations in Muskegon, MI. This role helps guide team members, coordinate workflow, and ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example on the production floor.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Lead, your core responsibilities will include:
- Lead and support daily production activities on 2nd shift
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members
- Work alongside the team to keep production running efficiently
- Coordinate workflow, staffing coverage, and shift handoffs
- Monitor quality, safety, production performance, and work area organization
- Troubleshoot basic production or equipment issues and escalate concerns as needed
- Support training, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Complete production documentation and perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of leadership or team lead experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems
- Excellent attendance and reliability
