Production Operator
to join our team in
Dexter, MI.
In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us by ensuring parts meet quality standards and machines run smoothly in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Production Operator
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Trimming and reworking parts: Ensure finished parts meet quality standards and specifications.
- Sorting and inspecting parts: Perform quality checks to support overall quality assurance efforts.
- Operating and monitoring equipment: Run presses and die casting equipment, including start-up and shut-down procedures.
In addition, you will also be expected to assist with insert molding, respond to machine alerts or trouble bells, and support overall production needs as assigned.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Comfort working in a high-temperature production environment
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Skills:
- Attention to detail: Important for trimming, inspecting, and ensuring part quality.
- Time management: Ability to stay on task and keep up with production demands.
- Machine awareness: Ability to monitor equipment and respond to alerts when needed.
