Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring a Production Operator
in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will be a key part of the manufacturing process, operating press machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate production records in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation: Operate press machines in accordance with safety standards and work instructions
- Material Handling: Load and unload metal plates and sheet metal into presses and inventory baskets
- Quality Inspection: Inspect parts for defects to ensure they meet production standards
- Documentation: Complete production reports, scrap reports, and lot tracking accurately
- General Production Support: Assist with routine press maintenance and additional tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail in both operation and inspection
- Ability to work at a moderate, consistent pace
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
