Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a  Paint Line Associate  to join our team in  Big Rapids, MI . In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the paint operation by sequencing, hanging, unloading, and inspecting parts to ensure quality standards and production goals are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
As a  Paint Line Associate , your core responsibilities will include:
●  Sequencing & Verification:  Verify correct parts per paint sequence using production dispatch monitors and ensure accuracy before processing.
●  Hanging & Unloading Parts:  Distinguish parts by size and color, select appropriate racks and hanging patterns, hang parts, and unload rack information into the production system to launch the paint process.
●  Inspection & Organization:  Remove product from the line, inspect parts for quality issues, report concerns to the team lead, and organize parts in the correct racks or carts for assembly.
In addition, you will also maintain product inventory, return paint racks to proper storage areas, and flex throughout the department as needed.
 
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications
● Education level equivalent to at least an 8th grade
 ● Ability to meet daily production requirements
 ● Willingness to flex work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as business demands
Technical Skills & Abilities
● Ability to use electronic production systems and technology tools such as PC, tablet, keyboard, mouse, and RF gun
 ● Ability to verify correct product by size and color
 ● Ability to maintain pace on a loading/unloading production line
