Montague, MI, 3rd Shift, $23.00+ per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Production Supervisor
to join our team in Montague, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping to oversee product flow, ensure safety and quality standards, and support a productive, team-based environment from the plate room through converting.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Supervisor
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Production Oversight: Manage and monitor product flow through various departments, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety requirements and company policies are followed, including record keeping and staff accountability.
- Team Leadership: Support, guide, and communicate with team members to maintain productivity, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
In addition, you will also be expected to coordinate with functional areas to balance resources, track production data, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid fork truck license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good mathematical and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Word, PSA, DCUs, and related systems
Skills:
- Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of standard mechanical tools to troubleshoot and support production operations.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration and communication skills to lead and motivate a team.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in documentation, production tracking, and safety compliance.
- Adaptability: Highly motivated and quick to learn new systems and processes.
