bakery items.

Temporary to permanent position*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow recipe / instructions to ensure products are assembled correctly
- Correctly pack product for shipments/delivery
- Checking products on the production line for quality
- Reporting machine faults
- Assist in ensuring product quality
- Ensure quantity is correct
- Assure product is aesthetically correct
- Keep area clean and organized
- Assist in other areas as needed
- Light pastry decorating
- May also bake as needed
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Maintain clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
- Ability to carry and
lift up
to 75 lbs.
- Excellent reading comprehension skills
- Detailed oriented
- Takes ownership of work
- Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, and converse)
in order to
receive written and verbal job and safety instructions, comprehend hazardous material labeling, and follow production schedule as required.
Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability
- Excellent observation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Takes ownership of work
