Pay:
- 1st Shift - $15/hr
- 2nd Shift -$16/hr
Shift:
1st 5:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday- Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays
2nd 5:00 pm to 3:30 am Monday- Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays
Job Summary:
As a Production Worker at BPV Environmental, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process of our environmentally friendly products. You will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling orders, and performing quality control checks to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment, such as conveyor belts, packaging machines, and material handling equipment
- Assemble products, including cat litter and small animal bedding, and lawn and garden products
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Key Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to read, write, communicate in English effectively
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Must be able to work in a very dusty environment without issue
Preferred Skills
- Quality control certification
- Basic math skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
