Production Workers / General Laborers
in Canton, MI to assist with the production and preparation of road signs and traffic safety materials.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a
Production Worker / General Laborer
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Perform a variety of hands-on tasks throughout the yard and production area to support daily operations.
- Drill holes in signs as instructed, attach signs to poles, and help prepare finished products according to specifications.
- Fill sandbags, pull signs from the yard, place completed products onto pallets, and assist with moving materials throughout the facility.
In addition, you will help maintain a safe and organized work area, follow work instructions carefully, and assist with other duties as assigned to support production goals.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry 20–40 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist regularly during the workday.
- Comfortable working primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions .
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance required.
- Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
Skills:
- Safety Awareness: Ability to work safely while handling materials and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Follow instructions carefully to ensure quality work.
- Reliability: Show up consistently and ready to contribute to the team.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to complete simple measurements and production tasks.
