Quality Technician
Location: Spring Lake, MI
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Summary
A local manufacturer serving the furniture and industrial markets is looking for Quality Technicians to join their growing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting incoming and manufactured parts to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducting quality inspections on incoming and manufactured parts
- Measuring parts and recording inspection results
- Entering measurements and quality reports into a computer system
- Sorting and processing rejected parts
- Using calipers and micrometers to verify product specifications
- Assisting in other production areas as needed
- Following quality standards and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Previous quality inspection experience required
- Ability to read, record, and enter measurements accurately
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify defects and ensure products meet specifications
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
