A Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet company quality standards and customer specifications before they are shipped. The inspector examines materials and finished products, identifies defects, documents findings, and works with production teams to maintain high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality and accuracy.
Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming products.
Use measuring tools, gauges, and inspection equipment to verify specifications.
Follow quality control procedures and company standards.
Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and production staff.
Ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Assist with corrective actions to improve product quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read work instructions.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25–50 pounds, depending on the position.
