Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented Quality Inspector to join a fast‑paced foundry in Kalamazoo. You'll be the eyes on the production line, making sure every cast metal part meets strict specifications and safety standards.
What You'll Be Doing

- Inspect incoming and in‑process parts for defects, using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Document every measurement and test result in a clear, traceable log.
- Flag any non‑conforming items, stop production if needed, and communicate issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all foundry safety policies.
- Support the production team by verifying quantities, labeling, and handling materials.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and work in a hot, noisy environment.
- Basic hand‑tool and power‑tool experience.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Clean‑shaven (for respirator fit) and safety‑focused.
