Quality Inspector, $17/hr – Troy, MI

A leading automotive fastener supplier in Troy, MI is seeking a Quality Inspector to support warehouse operations through accurate inspection, audit documentation, and quality issue resolution. Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, quality control, or visual inspection experience preferred
- Familiarity with quality documentation and inspection processes
- Ability to read and understand pick lists, travelers, and inspection logs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment
- High School Diploma or GED required
Skills:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts for conformity to specifications
- Perform layered audits and document results accurately
- Handle and report non-conforming material to the appropriate parties
- Track sorting and inspection tasks, including lot control and PPAP/PTR samples
- Support warehouse operations with receiving, shipping, and repackaging duties
- Communicate with vendors and supervisors regarding quality concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the inspection and audit areas
As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of product shipments and ensuring only quality parts reach customers. You’ll be cross-trained in warehouse and inspection responsibilities and will be counted on for your precision and reliability in a team-based environment.
