Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience (Quality Inspection, Quality Control, Quality Auditing)
- Can read/understand/follow work instructions
Skills:
- Able to read measuring tools (micrometer, calipers)
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to visually detect defects
- Ability to work on feet for duration of shift
- Desire to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The essential functions of the job
include:
Reading and following work instruction
plans,
diagrams
and specifications; operating measuring tools and quality related
equipment; inspecting work in progress parts at various stages within the
production
;
process; inspecting incoming raw material to ensure material meets customer and company
;
specifications parts; verifying that all completed parts meet specifications; rejecting
deficient parts and communicating these findings as directed
, and other duties
