Quality Inspector
Location: Farmington Hills, MI Shift: 1st Pay: $20/hour
Job Summary
Are you detail oriented and passionate about ensuring high quality products? We’re looking for a Quality Inspector
to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. In this role, you’ll perform inspections throughout various stages of production from incoming materials to final products helping ensure our components and assemblies meet the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector, your core responsibilities will include:
• Performing Inspections:
Conduct first piece, in process, incoming, and final inspections to verify parts meet specifications.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed inspection reports and quality records.
• Equipment Calibration: Assist with calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
• Process Audits: Perform random line audits and applicable process verifications as directed.
• Compliance: Support ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and PPAP quality system requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Handle shifting priorities efficiently and assist with other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a quality or inspection role
• Experience entering and reviewing data in computer systems

Skills:
• Proficient in using measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, optical equipment, etc.)
• Familiar with SPC techniques and ISO/IATF standards
• Strong math, organization, and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks

Physical Requirements
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted and up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Must wear appropriate safety gear (gloves, goggles, etc.)
