Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Newaygo, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to ensure all finished parts meet the highest quality standards for our newest client and that customers receive 100% certified parts.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector, your core responsibilities will include:
- Inspect Parts: Thoroughly examine finished components to ensure they meet specifications and pass all quality checks.
- Maintain Documentation: Accurately document all inspection findings and maintain records for traceability and accountability.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all customer location rules, client instructions, and company work procedures for sorting, inspecting, reworking, and parts handling. In addition, you will also be expected to review and understand the job work instructions at the beginning of each day and sign off on the appropriate form.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or history of successful work experience.
- Ability to lift 5 to 50 lbs., with a team lift of 80lbs as needed (Safety Glasses and close toe shoes required).
- Previous quality inspection experience is preferred.
Skills: - Attention to Detail: Essential for ensuring quality parts pass the test and for maintaining accurate records.
- Communication Skills: To effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Reliability & Teamwork: To be a hard-working and dependable team player, able to function in a stressful environment including time pressure.
