Workbox Staffing is hiring a Quality Sorter / Packaging Associate in Brownstown, MI. This position plays an important role in ensuring finished products meet quality standards before shipment. While part of the Quality Department, this role is primarily focused on visual inspection, sorting, packaging, and preparing product for customers. What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Sorter / Packaging Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Visually inspecting finished nuts for defects and quality concerns
- Sorting product according to quality standards
- Packaging finished product into boxes for shipment
- Labeling and preparing orders for customers
- Maintaining accurate counts and production records
- Keeping workstations clean and organized
- Following all quality and safety procedures
- Assisting with additional production support duties as needed
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or inspection experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify defects and quality concerns
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed
- Ability to work in a warm manufacturing environment during summer months
