A client of Workbox Staffing is seeking an experienced
Quality PPAP Coordinator
to join their team in Monroe. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this role is responsible for leading Advanced Quality Planning processes, ensuring ISO/IATF compliance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Summary of Position:
The Quality PPAP Coordinator develops and maintains PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Gage R&R Studies, and other documentation for PPAP submissions. This role also assists with problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

This role also assists with problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead APQP and PPAP processes through customer delivery
- Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and PPAP documentation
- Coordinate measurement system activities, including gage R&R and MSA studies
- Support ISO9001:2015 and IATF16949:2016 compliance, including internal audits and QMS documentation
- Work with suppliers on quality issues, corrective actions, and PPAP requirements
- Track departmental KPIs, customer complaints, and corrective actions
- Review and approve process changes that affect product quality
- Act as the quality representative on new product development teams
- Maintain all quality documentation and ensure customer requirements are communicated and met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Management or 5+ years of relevant Quality Control experience
- 3+ years supervisory/lead experience preferred
- Automotive quality experience required (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D, SPC)
- Lead Auditor certification for ISO9001/IATF16949 or equivalent training/experience required
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (plastic injection molding preferred)
- Proficient with MS Office and statistical tools (SPC, MSA, Gage R&R)
- Strong process improvement knowledge (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Work Environment:
- ~35% on the manufacturing floor, ~65% office-based
- May occasionally require working on shifts other than 1st
- Must be adaptable to changing priorities and able to collaborate across departments
