Responsibilities for the Quality Technician:
- Inspect fabricated steel beams for quality and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure compliance with specifications
- Identify and document defects or non-conformities
- Collaborate with production team to resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and testing
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with quality procedures
Preferred Qualifications for the Quality Technician:
- 2-3 years of experience in quality control or a related field
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills for the Quality Technician:
- Experience with quality control software and systems
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. AWS, ASME)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
