Job Summary
Looking for a change of scenery? We have the opportunity for you! A local Norton Shores manufacturer specializing in metal products for the furniture and industrial markets is seeking Quality Technicians to join their growing 2nd shift team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity with overtime available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming and manufactured parts
- Perform accurate measurements and record inspection results in the computer system
- Sort and process rejected parts
- Use calipers and micrometers to verify product specifications
- Assist other production departments as needed
- Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
- Previous quality inspection experience required
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Ability to read, record, and enter measurements accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for the entire shift
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
