Quality Technician
Location: Muskegon, MI
Pay: $17–$19 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping ensure products meet strict quality standards through inspections, documentation, and collaboration with production and engineering teams.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
- Product Inspections: Perform incoming inspections on supplier materials and final product audits before shipment.
- Quality Documentation: Maintain quality records including customer prints, production charts, setup data, and calibration documentation.
- Measurement & Testing: Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, and protractors to verify product dimensions and quality standards.
In addition, you will assist with first article inspections, PPAP documentation, product identification procedures, and work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and understand customer prints and requirements
- Experience with measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and protractors
- Computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify defects and non-conforming products.
- Technical Measurement Skills: Experience using inspection tools and maintaining calibration records.
- Communication & Teamwork: Ability to work with supervisors, engineering, and production teams to maintain product quality.
