Receiving Associate

Location: Portland, MI
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team at a car auction lot in Portland, MI. In this role, you'll perform vehicle intake tasks, including cleaning and photographing vehicles, as well as general labor duties. You'll work outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring a safe and efficient vehicle processing experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Receiving Associate, your core responsibilities will include:

● Assisting with vehicle intake, cleaning, and preparation for auction
● Photographing vehicles using a phone or camera
● Performing general labor duties around the facility
● Adhering to safety protocols while working in the car lot
● Working outdoors in all weather conditions

In addition, you'll be expected to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with team members.

What We're Looking for to succeed in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Valid driver's license
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
● Ability to bend, twist, lift, sit, walk, stoop, and stand for the duration of the shift

Skills:
● Attention to detail to ensure accurate vehicle processing
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

Preferred Skills:
● Customer service skills
● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
● Awareness of surroundings in high-traffic areas
