Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is seeking a
Rectifier Assembler
for a leading manufacturer in
Troy, MI
. This role supports the assembly of electrical sub-components for rectifiers while meeting production goals and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and accuracy.
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Rectifier Assembler plays a key role in delivering reliable, high-quality power solutions that exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a
Rectifier Assembler
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics to assemble rectifier sub-assemblies
- Wiring panels and output panels according to specifications
- Preparing transformer components, including stripping and lugging wires
- Cleaning components and measuring, cutting, and punching materials using a punch press machine
- Inspecting assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Following all safety, quality, and production procedures
In addition, you will maintain an organized work area and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machinery, and visually inspect parts
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and safely use mechanical lifting devices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with panel wiring
- Previous experience working with cable
- Basic understanding of blueprints, electrical assembly, and electrical schematics
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Mechanical aptitude and hand-tool proficiency
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
- Commitment to safety and PPE compliance, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection
