Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Repair Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. All candidates must be prepared to stay physical throughout the entire shift and have no issues with getting dirty and wet.
Responsibilities
Repair Laborer Duties:
  • Tear down and reassemble damaged bin sleeves, tops, and bottoms.
  • Assembly new bins in support of bin purchase orders.
  • Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets or trucks.
  • Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensures a sufficient level of inventory to support repairs and purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
 
Material Handling Duties:
      Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring proper placement and tracking
      Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility using a forklift
      Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and compliant with company policies.
 
Key Qualifications
      Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting is preferred.
      Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
      Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing repetitive tasks.
      Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Familiarity with various repair tools and techniques is preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift - certification a plus
