Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Rotary Die Cutter to join a growing team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in daily operations by converting raw materials into precision-cut components while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are consistently met.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Rotary Die Cutter, your core responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operating rotary die cutting equipment to convert raw materials such as foam, film, fabric, tape, and paper into custom shapes and sizes
- Reviewing production orders to ensure raw materials and packaging match bills of materials and job specifications
- Maintaining production schedules by meeting output targets and promptly reporting any issues
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently to maximize machine utilization
- Completing all required shop paperwork, routers, and production records accurately
- Following quality standards and safety procedures throughout the production process
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of rotary die cutter operation and converting processes
- Understanding of FDA, cGMP, and OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to work in a noisy environment and stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry materials as needed
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and machine setup experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing work orders and specifications
- Ability to maintain production efficiency while ensuring quality standards
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
