Shift: 6 AM to 4 PM (Monday–Friday some Saturday)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job SummaryAre you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Skilled shipping associate to join our team in Decatur Michigan. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our Logistics team.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Saw Operator/Fabricator associate, your core responsibilities will include: Following clear and precise work orders
Fabrication
Using Handsaws/hand tools
Quality Checks: Inspecting finished products to meet company standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Measuring and cutting framings on industrial doors.
In addition, you may assist with general production tasks and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.What We're Looking ForQualifications:· High school diploma or GED.· Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
· Intermediate mechanical comprehension and abilities.
· Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out instructions in written, oral, and/or diagram form.
· Skills to measure and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
· Lift 70lbs with assistance.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/32"
· Train and work in other departments as needed.
Skills:Mechanical Aptitude: Must be mechanically inclined
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy when handling glass and assembling components
Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hands and tools efficiently
Reliability: Consistent attendance and strong work ethic to support team productivity
