Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Screw Machine Setup Technician & Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing complete machine setups, editing CNC programs, and operating CNC lathe and screw machines to produce high-quality parts that meet tight tolerances and production standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Swiss-style equipment, specifically the Tsugami BO326-III, and a solid understanding of CNC programming and troubleshooting.
Pay: $26–$30/hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform full setup of CNC screw machines and CNC lathes from start to first article approval
- Set up and operate Tsugami BO326-III Swiss-style CNC machines
- Load tooling, set offsets, and make necessary program adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are running optimally
- Maintain accurate production documentation
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- CNC setup experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of CNC Lathe operating experience required if no prior setup experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC lathe machines and Swiss-style screw machines
- Experience with Tsugami BO326-III preferred
- Familiarity with CNC programming and program editing
- Ability to perform complete initial machine setup independently (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
- Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
