Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is hiring Secondary Machine Operators
in Dexter, MI. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate drilling or welding machines, inspect parts for quality, and support production needs in a temperature-controlled facility
with a relaxed work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Secondary Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation: Operate drilling or welding machines to produce parts
- Load/Unload Parts: Place parts onto machines and remove finished products
- Quality Checks: Inspect parts for defects using visual checks and measuring tools
- General Production Support: Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Production Manager
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Previous machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to learn and follow production processes
- Experience using micrometers or calipers is a plus
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable and willing to learn
