Service Analyst
to join our team in
Canton, MI
. In this role, you’ll help manage service material requirements, ensure customer orders are fulfilled, and maintain inventory accuracy to support global automotive customers and production needs.
What You'll Be Doing
As a
Service Analyst,
, your core responsibilities will include:
- Customer Order & Material Management: Ensure customer service requirements are met by managing part availability and scheduling orders from multiple OEM customers worldwide.
- Release Processing: Pull and process service releases using EDI, supplier websites, fax systems, and other
- Inventory Control: Maintain inventory levels by performing cycle counts, monitoring inventory dollars, and supporting inventory turn objectives.
In addition, you will also be expected to support Ford Customer Service Division release and planning maintenance.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in automotive materials, service parts, or forecasting roles
- Experience with release management and forecasting, preferably DDL for Ford Motor Company
- Knowledge of MRP systems; SAP experience is a plus
- Understanding of shipping and receiving protocols
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills: this role balances multiple customer demands and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset: accuracy in inventory and release management is critical.
- Communication skills: ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers.
