Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented leader looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Service Manager to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping lead service department staff while supporting a company that specializes in designing and manufacturing high-quality stainless steel commercial restaurant steamer machines, including both boiler-based and boilerless steamers built for high-volume cooking with durable, industrial-grade construction.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Service Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
● Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, motivate, and manage service department staff while resolving conflicts and maintaining a productive team environment.
● Customer Experience: Ensure prompt, personalized service support when resolving complaints while focusing on building long-lasting customer relationships.
● Operations Management: Manage daily service workflows focused on resolving open service events while tracking projects and performing administrative tasks such as invoicing and parts shipments.
In addition, you will also analyze service data, develop procedures to improve response time and resolution rates, maintain a clean and organized service environment, generate service reports, and coordinate with other departments—including communicating with the sales department regarding problematic accounts when necessary.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
● Previous HVAC experience required
● Proven experience managing a service department or service team
● Ability to manage service operations, staff, and administrative tasks effectively
